“Like Someone in Love” is our second album.
Our previous album “Small Talk” which came out two years ago moved us forward as artists and as a duet, and the warm responses we received provided us with one of the most important elements of the artistic process – listener feedback.
The listeners’ openness, attention and response is what nourishes every artist and encourages him or her to continue to create.
This special relationship with the audience, and the fact that we continue persistently to perform together, created the impetus to go back into the studio and record another album.
In order to enable a quality production for the album, and in order to expand our audience, we crowd sourced for funding.
We were excited and moved by the support we received and we would like to thank all of you for your generous support which enabled us to achieve our goal.
As before, this next album is mostly devoted to Jazz Standards but we saw fit to include two original tracks that we wrote. It’s possible that these tracks are a hint that our next album will be based mostly on original material…
